Had the M5 for almost a year now and thinking of changing it, but I'm not overly sure of what I could get for similar money that would be as good.

I've found myself looking at E46 M3 cabrios as I've always quite liked them, and having driven my Mums Z3 again the other day it reminded me how a great sounding engine can be sooo much better when you can hear every note change clearly, and it's all part of the overall experience of driving for me, and if i'm honest kind of bugs me that the M5 is too quiet in that respect. But then again M5 to M3 might be a bit of a let down and pointless, and almost everyone I know has had/got one.

Anyway, ideally it would have to be no more that about £12k and be able to be used everyday for work. I have absolutely no inspiration at all....

 

Audi S4 Cabrio?? ....or throw a decent system on the M5 to open the engine note up a bit??
