Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane Smith in Dr Who) has died
Just saw on the news that she has died aged 63 after suffering from cancer and I am more gutted than I probably should be.
She was my all-time favourite Dr Who character from my childhood and, if I'm honest, I think I retained a wee crush on her for all these years.
I didn't get to see many of her newer series, the Sarah Jane Adventures, but I wouldn't have said she looked anything like her age.
Hope she rests in peace.
