one story that i know to be true regarding rs turbos racing supercars, sports cars etc, my bros old fiesta rs turbo had a bit of a play with a fellow mates porsche boxter and was right on his bumper up until 70mph officer
this is not saying that my bros old frst was faster than the boxter just was a bit surprising when it was staying with it as we were expecting it to leave us for dead.
cant remember the exact spec of the frst alli remember it was running 186bhp

the people who buy these sorts of cars have money falling out of their pockets and don't need to drive them hard to show them up
my mate reckons that the best part of 70% of the owners don't even do 1,000 miles a year in them, mostly pottering to the shops and back, which leaves the other 30% to drive them as everyday cars or give them abuse
when you go out with guys who are spending Ł20k on a night out without blinking an eyelid, you really think they are going to be worried about someone in a "common" car beating them off the lights?
i'm not doubting that your car beat the other car, but if the other river had the inclination to drive, and the talent, he would have smoked you good

A porsche aint exactly hard car to keep up with unless its a gt3 etc.
Trouble is people comment on how fast a lambo is just because they drive them? Has anyone been in mo's rs to compare... No i didnt think so.everyone so quick to judge but i must admit if this happend to me,pf would be last place i post it due to the response you get.
If the guy in the lambo can drive or not,i wouldnt of wanted to be in hes shoes getting beaten by escort lol.

This thread should not be on 5 pages. The bottom line of it is that it is entirely possible with the right spec. How the owner comes across about that fact is an entirely different matter though!
An RS1600i powered by a 1.6 CVH with a NMS big port big valve head, T34, Omex plus various other mods and S2 gear ratios weighing in about 980kgs has pushed a Gollardo all the way up to 150. The 16i would have revved out shortly after that though as it was on 15's and a 6800rpm rev limit.

I think we should sponsor MO & MOHAMMED to enter totb this year they will clean up . Please remember these lads are youngsters.
Ive never met these two lads but im sure amongst their friends their cars are unbeatable & so they start to think they are Supercar beaters. Entrance in an event like Vmax or totb would be a massive reality check for them but hey!! that would reveal just how slow they were. Much better to claim 'road kills' although maybe they should just tell their young mates who will lap it up.

he went out for a night out with a guy who spent Ł45k in one night at a club, how is he EVER going to be able to buy a round of crystal to match, let alone compete with, the rich guys?
he can't, they all know he can't, they don't take him along to say "this is how we roll", he was invited to come out one night and he did
so the same thing applys to the way they drive their cars, if you are minted enough to buy cars that most of us would have to sell our house for, why would you ever want to "have a race" with an old ford?
these guys make footballers look poor, they walk about "because" they own the place, bruce wayne is more worried about getting his birds back home than what the riff raff are egging him on to do
it's not the same field, it's not the same league, it's not even the same fucking sport if you are comparing multipe Ł'000's of supercar with an escort

Mo is one of these twats that thinks it actually matters if he beats someone on the road or not, where as most people are just really not that bothered and would sooner go to a trackday or a dragstrip if they want to race where they can do so properly.
So he keeps thinking he is "winning" when in reality he is the only one actually racing as most people have more sense.

I agree in some instances it could be possible. It all just sounds a bit far fetched. As a few others have said, get on the strip. Terminals will be a big indication of its abilities.
Admittedly this post has gone to shit really so theres no real point. Besides, rumour has it he's currently out getting video proof of his Zafira pissing on an Enzo.

Im a little lost here, from what i can see a standard gallardo is only 305bhp per ton as much as i dont like the OP if his car is what power he says it is then the story really isn't that far fetched

Has anyone ever thought that owner of lambo couldnt handle the power and was scared of it? I believe MO as i have 350bhp 3door cossie and ive raced a lambo and a ferrari modena along the tyburn road and beat em both..Young asian lads in both cars obviously scared of the power where as im not..Obviously bought them to show they got money

Busa, its not always just a case of being scared of the power, more a case of not actually caring about some pointless street race and having nothing to gain by thrashing their car and potentially everything to lose if it goes wrong.
If you want to know how your car compares to supercars then like Rod says above, just enter an event and you'll soon find out!

Yeah i agree CHIP they dropped there car down a gear when i came along side them they wanted to race trying to show off to there passengers but came unstuck.. Im not trying to say my car faster at all than either of them just that some people buy cars that are too fast for them, as a fashion statement.. LAMBORGHINI is my favourite car id love one and id imagine the power of one is phenomenal, my 3door dont stand a chance against someone who can handle a lambo

I dont think he is actually lieing, I just think he doesnt understand the difference between someone giving his lambo a quick half-hearted squirt cause he actually cares about his license, and his car actually being quicker than one in reality.

Also CHIP as from my name i ride a HAYABUSA its been messed with, its got 190bhp at back wheel.100mph in 1st gear, off clock in 4th gear im a member of the 200mph club so i know what fast is, so im under no illusions at the capability of a lambo against my cossie. i aint got a prayer of beating one
