its a 2005 x-type diesel which has the mondeo/transit engine 2.0


under booting it you get smoke, its not blue white or black its just that dusty type smoke you get from diesels, noticed it on motorway when you put foot to floor to overtake etc, its like an intital below then fades out, now i know some do just smoke like that

car runs fine no diesel knock etc, goes like that clappers for a diesel



and one more annoying problem, the airbox is at fron t of car by slam panel, theres the usual intake that slots into the airbox, mine keeps coming off no matter what i try to do, i even used some glue and slotted the coont back into place, i did try rocking engine incase the mount has worn and engine moving results in it disslodging but that doesnt appear to be the case

it results ina crappy induction noise at idle or low reving etc, only thing i can think of next is ramming a screw right though then to hold them in place but thats a bit of a bodge


any ideas?
