Ive tried both ways, through Bedford Town from Junction 13, and through Olney from Junction 14, and it was much quicker and much easier from J14 (mainly because I got lost in the one way system going thru Bedford lol)

What's the need for reg numbers? My car won't have any on the track. Never does...
What if the car is trailored to the track with no reg plates - will it still be allowed on?

Answers to peoples questions:
Number plates being taken off cars on track is not an issue.
There are power points in the Pit Garages & also 1 air line.

Here's yours, available from the DVLA for £495 (but a bit steep for your pikey wallet, and too new for the saff)

There will be no additional Passenger/Pit passes on the day, however all Passenger / Pit passes that have been issued are transferrable. If you find someone willing to let you use theirs for a bit just bring them with you to the Beds RSOC stand inside with the Traders and we'll swap the wrist band over for you

For anybody travelling A14 Eastbound towards Junc 10 A6 for Bedford on saturday
there is a Speed Camera just underneath Junc 8 around the loop for Kettering it is
set at 82 MPH !!!!!!!.
Its not always active but just in case.
There are no other fixed camera sites along the A6, but the revenue vans do like
the A6, especially the stretch just off Junc 10 A14 towards Finedon.
Safe journey.

Yeah that speed camera is a bitch. Its on a bend under Junction 8 and you don't see it until it is to late.
Also on your way home west bound on the A14 there is a camera under junction 9.
