They don't let you use hotmail - for example mine is setup with a Bt Yahoo email address, so yahoo would be easy and fine to setup

It's about £35 a year from memory, in most cases you could still get cheaper insurance shopping around than using official insurers, I was only phoned back on one occasion out of 4, so gave up.

this is true , however the clubs official insurers have proven to pay out FULL agreed valuatuion on many claims , i just hope the other insurers do the same

one of these so called cheaper insurers that many RSOC members are now using i fear will upset many owners if they need to claim , I have looked at there terms and conditions and IMO of being in the motor trade all my life and dealing with thousands of claims , its alsmost impossible for the insurers NOT to be able to worm out of paying the full amount

I just hope im wrong

You are totally right paul, I NEVER view insurance as anything other than for others peace of mind(that it is insured).
I personally know of 5 families without insurance, with IMMUNITY FROM PROSECUTION, they are called immigrants, still riding round on foreign plates, NO TAX, NO INSURANCE, NO MOT, NO SPEEDING TICKETS, NO POINTS, but worst of all NO POLICE ACTION.
I'll give it 10 years and I think we will see a massive rise in uninsured/taxed/mot'd cars on the road, esp with "visitors" pushing the figure.
They have 6 months to register the car, and so tax/mot insurance etc, even my old Doctor, Dr Mueller was here 5 years before he did this, and then only as I reported him, pity his neighbour didn't, as he works for norfolk police.
