As I have been made redundant with a nice payoff I am looking for a diesel motor. Am drawn to the E60 5 seriesfrom round about 2005 but am unsure which to go for.

Any one on here have any experience of them?

my mate has a 535d m tech sport 05 plate and its awesome been mapped such a good all round car, hes just looking to change to an s5 atm though but sales are slow atm

i drove a 530d auto e60 with intentions to buy a few weeks ago and wasn't overly impressed, based on this the 535d gets my vote!
