lol, how much would it cost and would it be worth to get put a type r engine in an escort gti? I'm guessing it won't even fit but i know nuffin so thats why i'm asking. Not thinking of doing it, just wondering if its possible! Would be good! Escort 2.0 GTI V-Tec!

i have a vid clip on me pc of a t61 turbo civic on the rollers, sounds mint, comes on boost then comes on cam, rev rev rev rev rev rev rev rev rev!!!

i reckon the engine would fit but don't forget it would need loads of work including... engine mounting brackets fabrication, driveshafts,loads of wiring and a gear shift making as these are cable operated in the dash! btw the one on e bay does not have the ecu and some other important bits (i had already asked!)... if you decide to go down this route give me a shout, i might just throw it in for you!

Any idea on a rough price of getting it all sorted not including suspension brakes and other bits like that! Just gettin all the engine and gearbox sorted!

going to be a fotune if you hand over the engine and the car to a place to get it done. get in the garage with the wlder and your thinking cap on!!!
