on the way home from crail i got on to the day bridge and the car started knockin its cunt in i thought i had done the bottomend i managed toget it off the bridge and my mate came back on his bike to see what was up opened the bonnet and started it again turned out the pully on the pump had sheered a bolt and was hittin the chassis leg so we cut the belt and took the pully off and foned the rac to get it home. Iv read on here that the pump on an rs and the 2.0 zetec black top are different due to the flow rate but are the pullys the same as this is all i need... or will i need to buy a whole new pump?

Good luck if you need a new pump mate. No longer made and will have to say silly money for one.

Ford remade some about a month ago, my mate bought one as a spare, deffo available again now

think its the tensioner that fucked up as the belt was slack. the pump is fine im gona see if the tensioner on the blacktop is the same if it is then im a lucky fucker
