will the 2.0 zetec go stright in to a 1.8 and run on the 1.8 ecu. and is the wiring loom the same any help would be great thanks.

it should run on the 1.8 ecu and wiring as long as you use the same sensors etc.
may run a little lean though at times and rich at others though.
you will need to use the 1.8 flywheel though as the 2.0 won't fit into the ib5 bell housing.

yeah I know it will fit straight in. i would have thought the ecu would work.
