Ginge,
I shall say this only once, so don't ask me EVER again .

From the way you drive your car, YOU need to revert to standard cams and switch to a 0.48 a/r housing.

Combined with another remap by Stu, this will restore the mid-range you strive for.

Short of swapping the whole engine over for one that is more suitable to your driving style, this is the ONLY way you will improve the car to drive how you keep saying you want it to .

btw i got a .48 housing , im gonna "test" the greys idea, ya never know i might learn to love it

then after that ill convert back to standard if i dont like it

Stu,
You can lead a horse to water....

Ginge,
If I was you, I would first put a set of standard cams in and get Stu to set it up. If THAT didn't give you the repsonse you want, then I would think you were Jim G's long lost brother and that you REALLY needed a T3 or a 24v V6 .

well, I say for a road car you need at least 600bhp/600lbsft Jenspeed car sounds ideal . it must be fast in all situations, good for top end for bike racing etc but also not looooads of lag so you dont get cained round twisties by stage 3 cossies

I like having music and some comfort in my cossie and good fuel economy would be nice but if thats your main concern dont buy a cossie thats what run arounds are for!!!cossies are for fun and going fast

i like the 24v v6 EXCEPT its seems like theres no power after 3grandish, might be me but it just gets gutless

but i like the low down torque though , now what i want is that ASWELL as the nice powerfull car i got too

but when my car was hitting 2bar ( dam amal valve ) i fooking loved that, strange aint it, was really fookingn flying and soooooo much fun to drive, i even belled switch who fixed it for me at 3am when i got it to tell him how much better my car was running, i did not know i was peaking 2bar though , but that was fun, changed the car totally,

is that cause of the cams or just cause i was driving on a fooked ignition lead for a long time loosing me power ???

sorry for all the questions but think of me as a sponge soaking all the infomation up and i can advise others based on what i learn

i dont mind fuel ecomony from a cossie, its the fuel prices i hate, if they fitted bigger tanks i wouldnt have to visit the shell garage as much and im sure id feel better, my cabrio when i fill the tank up i visit them again in 3 weeks time, with the cossie i have to drive to the shell garage on the way to go anywhere

80 quid in 1 week on fuel ( car was having issues though, its been better since ,

oh and im not kidding but i did check to makesure my petrol tank wasnt leaking just incase, i was wrong

Ginge,
Sounds like you'll be needing a tow soon .

I doubt the gauge will happen now. The manufacturer has moved all production to Malaysia and has currently knocked on the head all R&D . Never say never though - oops .

Ginge,

While you're there, get a T2 on it, and set the rev limit to 4500
