Handbrake cables/twin mass flywheel/V-belt tensioner/Crankshaft pulley/Rear brake calipers/injectors and injector pump. Its a luck of the draw when it come to mondeos some people have no bother with them at all. It all depends how the car was driven and the roads it was on.

Front coil springs snap all the time
rear calipers for the handbrake
coil packs play up
inectors & fuel pump
dual mass flywheel
aux belt tensioner

the list is endless, but they are quite nice to drive. As said, its luck of the draw - some are good as gold

Tdci mainly diesel issues, pumps, injectors and so on.

Great car generally, but I've seen a few early ones now rotting badly on the door bottoms/sills.

I considered a 2.0l petrol version as a runabout seeings as I travel long distances occasionally but their a touch thirsty for me and I have no luck with modern diesels.

They shift too from memory (tdci)!!!
