Hi folks, I am trying to get a main bearing cap brace sorted for my V6 Granada Cosworth engine.
I have got a company local to me who are quoting me what I think is a high price from what I have been reading on fordpower, what I want to know from people on here is what sort of price people would expect to pay for one of these items.
It will look a little something like this one below

the 4.0 explorer has one from what i've heard and they bolt straight on, so find a 4.0 explorer girdle and your sorted.

theres a company in canada that make that girdle and sell them for $200. but i doubt that will fit in to the 2wd ally sump as the brace on number 2 cap is too big

i made one up myself with some longer bolts (from a guy on fordpower) and a plate of 10mm steel. just used an angle grinder and pillar drill tho, no laser or water cutting involved with mine

Application: 4.0 V6 Rangers ohv or sohc engines

**If using on the sohc engines...the oil pan will need changing, using a Ranger ohv oil pan, plus modifications to the new pan will be necessary**
