Default plastic rivets

good evening people

i need to refit my bodykit to my s2 rst soon.
should i be using plastic rivets to attatch it?

i guess they dont seal as tight as alloy ones and dont sqaush the kit??

and can i use a normal rivet gun with them or do i need a special one?

never seen or used plastic ones before so any info or help is much appreciated
cheers fellas
steve
