hello folks, could anybody please tell me what my compression should be on my mk 4 escort xr3i as i did at compression test yesterday and it came out at 150 on all for cylinders is this good or bad?

id say 100- 120 min so 150 is not bad , wip the head of get the seats recut and skim 30 thou off you should see around 170 then. Just done a compression test on a TVR Tuscan 240 psi on every pot except number 3 were is was 60 psi !!! still made 311 at the wheels thou.

 

150 is fine, don't worry.

 

150 doesnt sound anything to worry about and the fact that all were very similar is a good sign too.
