Default Trolley Jack Pads, anyone used them?

Further to the B&Q trolley jack thread has anyone tried these pads?

Also it strikes me they are just hockey pucks so do you recon these are the same construction and upto the job? they are rubber and exactly the same size after all but a LOT cheaper

Definitely not the same;

Hockey Puck 1" deep 3" diameter

Jack rubber 3" diameter 1" deep!

No idea, but the jack pads are better for playing hockey I find.

Ice hockey pucks make great engine mounts.

I made my own, cut some rubber and used lots of gaffer tape to keep it on the saddle.

It does'nt damage the car in anyway but I find them slippy

Jack pad, for the Sealey jack I got.. was only 8-10quid I think..

But the hockey puck idea is cool. Although I have a hockey puck and the rubber is certainly a lot harder than the jack pad!
