don't know about using them but from what i've read on here "reconditioned" injectors are just old ones cleaned, painted and flow/spray pattern tested to generate new codes for them. they are still worn and so better off buying a single new injector to replace the fauly one as i've also read on here there isn't any need to replace all 4 if its just the one dodgy one. though it coud ean the other 3 aren't far behind.
are they a delphi diesel specialist? if not i would not use them as they won't have the proper equipment. the mondeo has a dlephi fuel system so any problems and you should see a delphi specialist.
hope that helps

they are with a delphi specialist at the moment but unfortunatly they told me i may need to buy2 new ones as somneone had been at them previously and had made a balls of them, real nightmare stuff these injectors, ill know more tomorrow, but i really dont want to shell out on new ones!(which is what i should have done from the start!)

yep unfortunaely the best way is to buy new injectors. don't go to ford though as its cheaper to get them direct from delphi via the specialist.
fingers crossed it wont take you too much to fix mate.
oh the other reason for going to delphi is that i have heard some times the codes don't take properly even at ford but its not a problem at a delphi specialist. think that was Dan at fast ford as he spent ages and a small fortune sorting his mondeo 2l tdci out!
