Any idea why my outlook express keeps 'Bouncing' my e-mails back to sender.It keeps coming up with following message from Admin.Does the total quota sound high as there are hardly any e-mails in my folders.Or is there somewhere i not looking?????

A message was sent to you that was returned to the sender(bounced)
because it would have caused your mailbox quota to be exceeded.

The following is the reason that the message was over quota:

Quota Type: Total Bytes
Quota Available: 0
Total Quota: 10485760

 

it's cause you have the setting "copy email from server " (sorry cant rememeber exact message...enabled and not empting the mailbox on the servre

seems to be both i think but defiantly ntl.and how do i empty it on server then.

 

you probably dont have it set to delete emails when you download them, so they are all staying on the server and you have run out of space in your POP3 box on the server.

 

And where can i change that setting as i'm a numpty woth these things.Ask Spiky.
