Haha!
I wasn't even being nasty, it's the truth. I even offered to type if need be but honestly I've stuck up for the FRS many a time and people still talk them down when they havent even tried them!
As for being nice... erm... freedom of speech was somewhat removed

If you find my for sale post from around July last year it details EVERYTHING I had to replace on the car.
Worth every penny imo.
They are good looking, reasonably quick and excellent on track. I only changed to scratch my Evo and M3 itch. I wouldn't go back from my M3 now but that's no reflection on an FRS.

I had mine when it was nearly new right the way up to it being 411bhp and it was a lovly car and never let me down..i allways had the excitement to drive it.
I've never had an infraction in my life. All of a sudden the Luftwaffe hit me with 2 in a week for very trivial matters. IMO it's a shame that this place is like a library now and not as colourful as it was.
Agreed it needed toning down but there's too much fear even to voice an opinion.
Don't worry I'd still give you both barrels again over a certain "who the fuck are..." thread should it be posted now

BTW FRS owners have horribly inflated opinions on pricing. I'll admit I wanted as much back for mine as humanly possible but the fact remains I only paid Ł7500 back in Nov 08.
Plenty to choose from and dont pay too much

I've been to Tenerife and I bet you've been to Elevenerife!

Bloody great cars, loved mine. Never let me down and cost nothing apart from tyres/brakes/mods etc. Seriously quick with only 273 BHP (had fun with E46 M3's) and great fun to drive. Superb on track too.
I'd have another anytime.
Bad point: fuel consumption barely got over 20mpg. All the time.

Ive owned mine coming up for 6 years now and it still gives me a rush when I drive it. I paid 18.5K for mine at just over a year old and don't regret it one bit. They are absolute bargains now. Most of the stuff that usually goes wrong are easy & cheap fixes so as a performance car they don't cost much to run. I plan on keeping mine even when I eventually got a Mk2 FRS.
My focus was 22-25 for every day driving. It returned 33 mpg on a long run. Using Super.
My M3 is around about 26. Was 22 in cold weather. AT 70-80 mph on dual carriage way it returned 31. This is normal unleaded.
Overall the m3 is better and cheaper using normal fuel.
Hahaha, I was tugging myself off wildly under the table when I realised I had a story to top Chop's famous 'Bargain FRS' tale!!
...as you well know, I've got to live my car-based banter through other people for the foreseeable future so cut me some slack here mate.
Cheers,
Grant
