anyone reccomend whats best for long life protection?
planning to stone chip over it then possibly smooth hammerite?? need to be hard wearing as i intend to use it when suns out

It's an acid based primer that sort of eats into the metal to give it a good strong key , normally applied to aluminium.
I'd deffo use it first , then apply a good 2 pack high build primer , then your stone chip and then your top coat .
nothing will stop the rust but it can be held back for longer with good prep and primer products .....
