Default track day/air field past newcastle

I wasnt sure whether to post this in the 'track day' section, as its not actually a track day meeting, i thought i'd post here!?

I'm sure ive seen a track day held at an air field, north of newcastle. Does anyone know of this?
Or a cheap track day in northumberland some where?

Thanks

Sections of Brunton used to be ok for gokarts or cars you didnt give a shit about but its terrible for potholes etc. so not really of any use..... not that you have easy entry onto it anymore.
