My mate told me that www.lokitorrent .com is good. anyone used it before.

Are all these sites a similar to kazza etc.. filesharin and the like.

i use lokitorrent (well i actually use torrentstop but thats a mirror of lokitorrent :P )

if anyone spots season 3 onwards of "La Femme Nikita" on any torrent sites, PLEASE tell me the address i really like this program but can only find season1+2

Right, just registered on lokitorrent. How do you download stuff!?? When I click download it gives the option to open or save. If I pick save it just puts a symbol on my desktop that dont do owt if ya click it. If I press open it then goes back to askin me to save it??

Brasso: The thing it puts on your desktop is a link to the file on the network. All the files to Bittorrent is small, but they are like small links to big files. What you want to do is to download the files you would like. Then open the files with the Bittorrent program. The it will ask you where to save it, and then it will begin to download the file.

St3v3: How are you gonna block people from seeing your ip adress if you have to open "certain" ports to use the Bittorrent software?
Yes you can block some IP's but how are you gonna know wich ones are the bad ones? BT is using alot of connections to download your file, so you can't handpick them?

Or am I wrong?

you can use a program called peerguardian,now that doesnt always suit some peoples pc as it can slow it down,in some casses a lot,but i use it and if you update the blocked ip list often enough it can help to block the ip of people who are trying to stop us sharing files,
Its not perfect by anymeans and you could still get caught,try it and see what happens but i would avoid using the peergardian lite as i have heard of a few people having problems connecting to the net after installing this so get the full version,update the blocked ip list,then see how manny hits you get against you
