as above had a look at this guy and guy claiming 25,000 miles, undocumented and tbh the car looks like its done far more, its sitting 200 yards from the sea
theres more fibreglass and filler then metal, needs a battery tray and fuse box area , rear arches, front wings and sills, inner wings and a rusty strut mount
not doing this to piss on the guys bonfire but being im just relaying what i've seen when i went down to view it to my fellow fordians

yeah mate thats the one, if the guy was honest i wouldnt of posted it but he skirted around the subject of mileage and service history etc, if you want one for the spare parts then fair enough but it looks like its had a very hard life and whatever repairs that have been done have been very poorly, i.e wads of fibreglass stuck places and filler not sanded down just painted over with red oxide primer and what looks like thin black paint slapped over it, for the money its at steer well clear

yeah but being fair its not for repair, by the time you bought every panel needed to repair it you could just buy a mint mk3 shell from somewhere,
im not disputing the fact it needs work just the guys attitude was very poor and he wouldnt answer direct questions

Its not like he has got it on there a a show car is it? it is as he has decribed it, a spares/repair car, you would have to be some sort of idiot if you were going to buy that car expecting a minter.

yeah i see what everyone is saying. the car is advertised as needing body work not full resto, the guy's attitude is shit tbh, i phoned him about it and his wife couldnt of been nicer, when i arrived to see it asked to look at the car and he asked why then what are you looking at it for, i asked him to start it he humphed and hah'd i asked to see the boot ... he gave me a funny look
i wasnt expecting a minter especially for that money but i just thought id post up my experience ...yet again as is the passion ford way you get nothing but grief. i thought id give a more accurate description of the car to save people potentially travelling from glasgow to etc to see a car that is frankly past it
