Just posted this on a landrover site i use and thought I may as well copy it on here to just in case.


I took a day off work and drove well over 3 hours round trip to view / buy this damaged discovery after reading the ad many times and talking on the phone to the owner to comfirm the damage, which was said to be off side front lights, wing, drivers door and front bumper.

It took me 1 min to see this wasn't the case, it also had damage to offside rear door, rear wheel arch trims, fuel flap, offside roof bar, roof, and most important the Nearside B pillar which was bent that much the trim on the inside was cracked and doors not lining up. After I saw that I just walked away to try and save some of my wasted time even tho I would have loved to stay to waste theres.

Looks ok in the pictures apart from the obvious damage and roof rail, very clever photography.

 

Yeah the seat is in the way of the cracked trim, and you an just see the nearside rear door is sticking out at the top but you would notice if you didnt know you'd just think it was the light.

There off an early p38 i've got them on my white one, nice hey lol!!

I had but the amount of time i've wasted on looking at discoverys I think i mite make a good p38 out of the 2 I have.

 

if you enlarge the pic looking thru the boot you can see the cracked trim just about the seat. looks pretty bad as well!

ITs been rolled then? or on its side? i can see the side doesnt quiet line up from the pictures and the damage to the fuel filler flap.. some people just cant man the fuck up and be honest about things and then try and hide it to get every penny extra they possibly can.

 

not sure how its happened rolled picked up by a hi-ab or maybe hit a tree, ends tonight hope the winning bidder looks at it before handy an cash over.
