5 months jail and 4 year ban for speeding?
OK, he did hit 128mph, and he ran red lights and and ignored uniformed police, and drove dangerously, and lost control, and caused another driver to take evasive action and all, but still...

We all drive like tools at time, and break the speed limit. but this guy, was driving like an absolute CUNT according to his list of offences. im sure with that kind of sentence, when he gets his licence back in four years time, he wont drive like that again, especially as he wont be able to insure anything more poerfull than a 1.2 corsa.

Should have been given longer in prison.
4 months will be in reality 8 weeks, HDC (TAG) will be granted and he'll be released in around 3 to 4 weeks.

what road can you actually TRAVEL at 145 on that is a 30mph road ?
i dont mean get to then slow down for a bend either as im no stranger to driving like a prick but i doubt the road would be a 30 as that means its a built up area,,,, dont usually allow to happen due to geography if that makes sence

i live in Blackburn and there are loads of tossers here that drive like dicks all the time.
it will mean naff all to him as getting a replica license is dead easy and he'll just claim racial harrassment and never get stopped again.
honestly the things some of them get up to on the roads round here is unbelieveable.

Should have got longer IMO. As somebody has already said, he'll be out in a matter of weeks.
If what you have said is true (which sounds doubtful) then you should also have got longer.

but i wasn't driving "dangerously" i was just driving a bit fast
and this was many many moons ago, i very much doubt i'd be able to either have a car that quick or be in such a rush or get away so lightly in these times

don't be such a bender. on a good sized road with good visibility and clear of traffic, why the hell not? i regularly do that kind of speed on a bike and don't see it being that dangerous. maybe in something that takes ages to get up to that speed and doesn't have the brakes or handling for sustained high speed, but if you have a genuine performance vehicle it shouldn't be a problem. anyway, you haven't specified a public road in this country, and there are plenty of places in the world where that is perfectly legal and acceptable.

this smells of a drug dealer doing a run up the road and having to ditch whatever was in the car before he caught stopped.
