With fuel prices the way they are, and with further rises expected in the coming months, I'd think very carefully to be honest.
I know a couple of people with STs, one is selling and the other is considering it. Running a big engined car every day is an expensive business these days

My mates MK2 FRS never got anywhere near these figures and he used it as a daily just tooling to work and back, about 8 miles each way at 45-55mph for 7.5 miles of that... sure he was getting sub 20mpg average from his car, standard and treated like an absolute baby.

they are about the same as my old focus st on normal driving, they do use the fuel when used in anger....
my friend has a jamsport js440 kit and is the bollocks to drive but very juicy and uses it as a toy now... but as standard they are pretty good concidering.
im with you mate im going to sell the cossie in the summer and get one.
