You can fit ST170 headlight to a Mk1 (indicators in the bumper) but you will need to change the wireing.

I did this many years ago but bought conversion looms.

A Focus Mk2 is like my avatar & an ST170 is a Mk1.5.

Someone on FFOC made them for me about 5 years ago then I sold them to a mate who bought the headlights for his Focus when I sold mine.

I had some on mine too a few years back, I know the geezer who used to make them decided to give it up, no idea weather he has made any more since though.

Pretty sure his username on FFOC is tezza, could be worth a pm?

piece of piss to make the looms yourself, theres diagrams on google. you'll need some mk4 golf or mk1.5 focus plugs and a few feet of cable and you'll have it done in no time flat. Theres a wire to snip/reconnect at the stalk too, its been covered on here recently

I've not tried messing with wiring yet and wouldn't dwell comfortable doing it myself
