Camel Fiddler

Right I'm currently running a 1.8 16v black top with T25 turbo. No strengthening was done to the engine as it only runs 9psi boost currently. However, I read the ST170 bottom end has forged pistons etc and wondered if I put a ST170 bottom end, or even full engine in with my turbo, would I be wasting my time or could I up the boost reliably? Would only be looking for maybe 250bhp- 270 max. Obviously I'd need injectors, mapping and the rest done but would the ST170 bottom take it? Or what other options are there for going from 190bhp to 250bhp?

Current spec is black top 1.8 16v with T25, Mountune FMIC, Mountune mapping on currently locked Pectel T2, 2bar map sensor and 355cc/min Volvo T5 injectors. Engine had new pistons and rings done 30000miles ago but afaik they weren't strengthened.
