got it set up last night and had a quick blast.

how amazing are new cars? they're so easy to keep on the track and fly around the corners (due to the magnet i s'pose). my 2 old escorts and 70's GP cars hang the back out around every corner and spin the wheels down the straight. just like it should be. reckon they need new tyres as the ones they have are all cracked and hard.

Had the mini set back in the late 70s and we though it would be good if we raced in the wet ,so we poured water over the track after we could not figure out why the cars stopped(then our dad got home)
Got the escort cossie set now

went in a couple of model shops in barcelona and they had some awesome models and scalextric (and the copy ninco) models, including the zakspeed capri (which i have a kit of). didn't have room in my luggage for anything though.

check out these capri's

and the mk1 escort and mk3 'tina

and the daddy, rs200

were about 70 euro's for a little die cast model which i wasn't willing to pay. got me a tiny mk1 scrote for a tenner.
