Default Removing the exhaust housing from a T3?????

Need to rotate the exhaust housing on my 4x4 T3 (stage 1, 360 bearing) but I can't get the bloody thing to shift!

The turbo is fairly new and has only covered 1500 miles, so not a rusty lump yet.

Is there any secret tricks to doing this? Maybe add a touch of heat?

I've already tried plenty of plus gas!

Can any one help????

Cheers,

Doug.

heat the exhaust housing with a propane gas blowtorch to expand it slightly, then if you fix the core you can use a lever between 2 of the downpipe studs to turn the exhaust housing
