Automatic stalling?
Hi guys am new here was looking for a bit of advice.
I recently bought Ford Focus 1.6 tdci automatic 56 reg, the car has been running fine untill yesterday. When i come to slow down or stop, the car stalls out
. I have to put it into neutral when coming to the lights or to stop, otherwise the engine cuts out completely.
Any ideas what it could be?
Thanks for you time.

Gearbox speed sensor i reckon, used to be common on older fords.reason I say is that where I used to work we had hundreds of new cars as it was a ford factory and the boys kept the mileage down by disconnecting their speedos as the dealers would rape them if they went over mileage.
Of course,on the older cars it was great but the newer ones did just that, stalled at junctions.
