Yeah I know what it is/does - I was in the middle of a hard drive replacement job at the time & needed to increase the size of a partition - unfortunately no programs can do this on a server unless the disk type is basic & not dynamic!!!

thats becasue a dynamic disk isn't partitioned as such...
