Default which underseal ?

hello, mum bought a discovery 1 yesterday thats had 2 new cills. but it still needs underselling. which underseal do you recommend ? i was thinking waxoyl all over then brush on tetroseal for areas that get stone chips and stuff. would this be any good ???

dont just do the sills do every where and check under the headlights and all the arches as they can go really bad if not looked after and get some spray on underseal for the bits you cant get in with a brush

so should it al be wire brushed to clean metal first ?

I would mate. I did my whole underside recently in Hammerite with added waxoyl.
Brushable and the spray.
Baremetaled the underside with wire brush on drill first.
Have a look at my resto thread mate.
No point paintin ontop of old crap. Or it will start peeling then you'll get moisture trapped under the underseal and that's the last thing you want mate

Make sure you check the boot floor aswell, really bad for rotting there too.

right, so jetwash it, wire brush, treat rust, then paint with red oxide, then tetroseal brush and spray underneath and waxoyl in pillars and chassis ???? sound ok ?

if it was mine i woudnt use hammer rite as its wank ,gravitex stone chip is what i use on all cars i do ,but you will need a compressor

if you brushing it use por 15
