Default Finally bought a real one.

I have owned 2 sapphire cosworth replica's that i have built myself, both great looking cars just all show some go.

I was going to build my last replica into a complete cosworth package with the engine and everything else, but after a bad end of last year i ended up breaking the car.

So as i have sorted everything out i decided this might be the only time i could afford to buy a real one, best decision i have made in a while.

Just got to learn how to drive it now, taking it very easy its a bit different to a tuned DOHC 8V engine.

I will get some pics up once i have some time.

Had mine since July 1995, you learn early on when it starts to lose the rear, just come straight off the throttle and it straightens up immediately, they are very forgiving if you are sensible. Enjoy

Cheers,

Ade.

Best thing you have ever done
Mate you will love it,they are ACE lol.Dont agree with Mad ade though.
Ease off the throttle(pump) whilst steering the car if it goes sideways or keep it planted.Slip diff
You let if off "snap" big fish tail.A 2wd will power out of it if you are brave enough lol.

I have had a few sierra's with limited slip diffs so i was half way there lol.

It does seem very controllable just alot faster than my previous ones.

The car does need a little bit of love its going to tremonia garage in southampton soon for a check over as we think its blowing the spark out at higher revs or something is breaking down so only taking it up to about 5000rpm at the mo.

Also main beem has stopped working but i think thats an earth problem as all the relays click and the normal beem turns off when it should. I will have a play tomorrow with it.

Thanks for the comments guys.
