Default Jet wash/stream clean engine bay.

Hello,

How would i go about the wires in the engine bay? can i just wash everything including them or is it best to remove/cover them? The battery would not be connected.

Also whats best to cover holes over (open manifold/any pipes) Would just duck tape be best?

Many Thanks Eigdoog.

I normally just power wash it.

Tho my ST170 hated it and filled the spark plugs with water and you had to dry it out ffs.

Just cocentrate on the parts you want clean, if the manifolds are off i'd stay clear of the head. stay away from plugs/multi plugs and afterwards it would be good if you had an airline to blow the worst of it off. blow out all the ports just incase also.

Ok cheers guys, I was just going to go full on in with the jet wash on stream and cover the manifold holes up with tape but now im having second thoughts lol

But will i fuck up any wires if they get wet and dry ? I would of thought that would be ok as rain water would sit in the engine bay at times.
