Default bonnet risers

does anyone know where i can get bonnet supports which are like the ones you have on your boot instead of having the rod to hold it up? for a mk6.5 fiesta

Do some measuring, with open and closed length on your car, if they were fitted where you want, then simply visit scrappies, Ł10 later all sorted, will easily cope with a bonnets weight compared with a hatch/glass it is a tiny amount of weight.

Yep tailgate ones are fine, but if wanting shorter ones just look around for oe fit bonnet ones.
The main thing you need to watch is the closed length of the strut, I have seen a chav fit some, and cocked it up, he couldn't close the bonnet as he hadn't allowed for the shortening when closing and it was longer than the space between the pivot points ha ha!!

Just keep the minimum(closed) length in mind and double check as you go, it'll be fine, at least you have the nice Scarby sights to enjoy, my fave sea side place that is, I am mad and go there for the day, a round trip of 380 miles!!
