right, on my red series 2 restore, i fancy something different to the dash. Has anyone on here fitted a different dash to a series 2? Any tips if you have please.

Fitting a different dash is not really that hard as long as its a similer shape, its the wiring that is the biggest headake

i wouldnt recommend the E30 dash...looks the wrong shape and design for the Escort....my opinions stick with the original dash but do something different with it...thats what im doing

why not fit an alcantara trimmed jap style dash . less plasticky and probably slightly lighter

im having mine done by a company in oxford, getting it flocked and ive had some carbon made up for a panel to house gauges
