is it only 2nd gear or every gear on hard acceleration?

Have you changed the fuel filter? thats the cheapest option first.

hi,

its on second gear only - light acceleration - when i semi-depress( or half depress) throttle during normal driving - jerks badly. its better if i floor it untill 3rd. It seems like the initial acceleration after 1st gear untill I get high revs in second.

change the fuel filter as its only a few quid.

it happens on my astra as i run biofuel and need to change the filter regularly - but it happens in all gears, not just 2nd.

its the dual mass flywheel my feista was the same
its not the fuel filter as it would do it in all gears

didnt think the mk4 fez 1.8 turd had a DMF

but that could explain why it only does it in 2nd

if you hold rev's at 2grand out of gear you will feel a vibration

i've got a 02 plate fiesta td and in all gears at high revs it jerks, i've changed the fuel and air filter and the problem is still there.
any ideas??
