The V8 Atom looked fantastic, super quick too, would love a go in one!

After watching that race you have to appreciate how quick modern day litre bikes are, that's an out of the box bike ridden properly!

It was OK I suppose, not quite the Televisual Feast I had anticipated, you could be excused for thinking that they nicked the idea of racing a car in free-fall from Mythbusters.

For some reason I think it a Japnese driver, well its the comments clarkson was saying during the run, somthing about a jap crazing thing. WHY? are there any out of work Jap drivers based in England.

Thought it was as good as could be expected.

The glory days of a brilliant, clever, new format Top Gear are slowly dying, there's only so many times they can drive 3 bangers around different places in the world etc... It's clear they are running low on ideas as you would expect them to be after all these years.

Basically it was good if you didn't expect too much. I enjoyed it!


As for Tiff being the new Stig, would love it but surely obligations with Fifth Gear would never allow it? I'm mega surprised that it happened this time!

Its actually because those segments with Atom and christmas special with Tiff were filmed just as Ben was sacked, they needed someone quick and proven at very short notice.
