shouldnt that be checked/adjusted BEFORE any mapping is done?
I check/adjust all sensors for operation and sweep using data logging equipment before we do any mapping, if the TPS calibration wasnt checked first how do you know it even reaches WOT?
you will have to leave the car for a few days to complete a good cold start map, as if you drive there and come back the same day. it will never be cold lol.Thats why we take them in for a week,

You need the fuel map done first, then map the cold start correction.

im sure he will sort it,
But the ultimate and best way is to emulate the old girl, and actually do the cold start live when its cold.
Then leave it over night and check your work as cold start adjustment time is very short.

you can tweek and adjust it when ever you want, but you can only get it perfect live, when you actually adjust it and tweek it during a warm up cycle.
our off the shelf chips are pretty damm good because we have done so many, and can get them pretty close, but there is always room for improvement.
some cars and specs can come off cold start faster than others, some need more enrichment that others, there are so many adjustments to make, it really is best done live IMO especially if its an odd spec, luckily they normally get done live anyway.

we dont get many flames on over run as we use the fuel cut lol.
Mark is one of the tuners we trust and if the chip needs tweeks we can work with him to perfect it, but your sort of spec should be a walk in the park

James,
My plan is, i'm going to use my 4x4 Inlet, Mark's cam which i'm pretty sure is going to be a ABO7, my T35.5 and i have 72lbs, so hopefully a chip can be written for this or one quite aggresive so to speak...

you will get the odd flash and flame, but they wont bellow flames out like some
all cars produced with a cat will have a fuel cut on over run to protect the cat, so most cars on the road these days.including most cossies.
ive seen some dump so much fuel in on over run, you get borewash and also a load of smoke when you get back on the power lol. totally pointless imo.
im sure you have all heard the "its to cool the pistons bruv" comment lol, like pooring fuel in and setting fire to it will make it run cooler than no fuel, no fire, and fresh air will lol.
But thats another topic all together.

I have a bit of over run in my map as I like the flames out the back when having a play nothing wrong with that
