Default Powder coating ????

I was thinking about cleaning up the rear beam etc on the sapph, I was thinking of getting it blasted and powder coated but don't want to remove the OE inner bushes because they are only about a year old and don't want to risk damaging them, so the question is what heat is involved with powder coating and would it damage the inner bushes.

Yep those bushes would be useless after powder coating due to the oven heat, i had to remove mine and then fit flo flex ones after.

I have used an industrial paint called Rust-Oleum before on the hubs and a few other bits, and it still looks good many years down the line, as long as you prepare things properly it does last, but as you said powder coating is a tougher finish.
