... A Samsung D500



Has anyone got one of these phones?
Are they any good? (i've still got time to change my mind lol)

 

my mrs has one seems ok has a funny little speaker you cna plug in the side

no memory card tho so memory on the phone is very limited and not mcuh storage space

 

What's the video quality like Craig?

 

My mate has one he loves it
He can "Blue Jack" people aswell,his phone will pick up there bluetooth and extract stuff from it without them knowing

 

 

you can do that with any bluetooth device with the software

aj the quality is ok providing the light is good

it has a flash for still pics which is gash unless your up close and its utterly shite in the dark

but then its a phone and not a top quality digi cam with a badboy lens

im fussy

 

I've been told it's about an hour video time is that right? This will come in handy at the ring

 

Craig it has 80meg memory built in and an upgrade slot I think!

I'm just choosing between that and a Motorola V3, went for the V3 as the D500 is thinker than my current P900 Proper bulge maaaaan

(Plus the V3 goes for more on fleaBay so I can flog it and get a D500 is the V3 is as crap to use as everyone makes out!)

 

Phil coulldnt see an "upgrade" slot on my mrs phone

i have 500mb of porn on my phone and then loads of my car vids

got a 1gb memory card and a 256 mb card that goes in when im arround the mrs it has tom tom and a few games on it

 

I doubt orange will offer me a free XDA 2

 

The V3 has 5meg and definitely no upgrade slots

But it is bloody sexy!!



Every single shop i've been to recommended the D500 AJ so it sould be ok
(i'm not one to listen to advice though! )

 

 

I'm going from an ugly brick of a P900 which does everything and more to a funky little V3 which does nothing!

a bit ot, but im with orange ane mu 12 moths have past, will they upgrade my phone for free for me, with out taking out another 12month contract? i know i aint going to get the top dollar phones, but my current one is dieing and i dont wnt to buy one or take another contract out as i wont be using it after August

 

Rhys i've been with orange & had the same number now for about 7 years, so i called em today and said that i was leaving to go over to 3G & they said they'll match the tariff with the one i've been offered - 750 mins free anytime any network for Ł35 pm & then i said i want the samsung d500 as well & they said ok no probs - free of charge

Call em up & try it mate

I have had my D500 for about 2 weeks and i love it , not the usual crap from samsung!! really good screen 256k colour which only a few of the phones i looked at had

I wasnt too bothered about the camera but it turns out to be quite good , not as good as some other 1.3MP camera phones

mine was an upgrade which i paid Ł30

yes m8 it has if you click the 1st link and go to phone features it has a fookin great list of stuff , i think i even saw "makes tea and coffee"

 

 

i have one! they are superb, just be carefull of the slide up thingy cuz it can be an bitch keep putting in and out of your pocket.
