You can use water as lube(not advised realy if your new to it),you can also make a lube with a decent ph neutrol shampoo like ags,if you use a cheap one ive found it attacks the clay and makes it break up
I use the auto glym kit. You get the clay bar which comes in a tin,the lube micro fibre cloth and a big rowl off they net looking polishing cloth and a little bottle of super resin polish. When ive used the clay bar the last few times ive just used a squirty bottle to keep the panel im doing wet.
sounds like it mate seem to get good results theres a few vids on youtube aswell improves the paintwork loads! ill post my results up when i give it a go
I have used them all over the years and this is a fine compounded one with its own lubricant built in, so you only have to keep the paintwork wet. I always use this one on a wet car straight after washing. Wash off, dry, a good quality polish, and then a wax.
