lol na i dnt think he was pissed, everybody happy now, i got it at the rite price so wasnt fussed, its melted piston number one and destroyed the head, i reckon the water injection tank has ran out of water ind its melted itself, got another engine in bits im away to build for it, its got all the toys, 8 injector wrc manifold bd cams etc long stud plus loads of aeroquip hoses so im happy enough to do it cos the car is rare and not many left, shame it destroyed the head as its ported out nicely, well specd car, hope to get pics up soon

seen ur yellow and blue one at knockhill for the fastford day was goin well,
on another note did u by any chance hav a american pickup forsale a few weeks back?
just the name and place ring a bell with the advert on ebay,

Its owned by Vince Woodman the race driver, he had a Ford dealers in Bristol and bought it at a closed ford auction in the late 80s direct from Ford. It was supposed to have been specced for the Duke of Bedford who would only drive red cars apparently. Its been at the Combe rs show for the last two years.

sent u my number mate, you should see the mess its made in the head chamber and the bore lol, the heads of 2 of the valves were rattlin around inside bore, would like to know what actually happened to car when it broke if anyone knows????

i got told it needed water injection because it on a standard intercooler just to keep aircon in it, instead o havin a 500 cooler, if anyone can correct me please do, ive not had anythin to do with water injection before

i got banned for 4 lots of speedin, nothin mental, 75mph in a 60, 46 in a 30,86 in a70 and last one that got me banned was 70mph in my cossie van and it rated to 60mph lol , the fuckers. i didnt want to sell the truck but somethin had to go, hopin to get back to knockhill when get my licence bk man

Standard cooler ,who ever built it wasnt a pro,and imsure ggr would never build an engine with that spec and leave a standard cooler,makes you wounder what else is a miss,sounds like valves have broke,or timing out,doesent sound like det ,

Mmmmm, Chop those wheels and tints look ripe on the Moonstone Saph... and I anticipate you're away to tell me this was about 1995 when League wheels and tints were ripe, but you could have at least photoshop'd them out of the photos before you posted them.

it was ggr that done the full conversion, have the receipt rite here to proove it man, the standard cooler was left in so that the aircon can still be used i was told, ggr spoke very highly of the car and said it was probably no water in the water injection that caused it to detonate at high temps, like i said i dnt know alot about the water injection so cant say, on the instruction booklet it says if water level isnt kept topped up it will detonate sumhow lol, the car got all the toys man, its definately detonation, if you saw it youd see exactly man, trust me lol
