Around 200BHP..
Easiest and most reliable way for my mk4 Fezza sleeper?
By what I've heard, CVH isn't the most reliable of engines these day's. Possibly Zetec?
All idea's are welcomed.
Thanks
Ben.

I can't go much more than Ł900 including engine, it's a bit of a budget blast for weekends really.

I don't know about doing it on Ł900, but the old cvh isn't stressed at 200bhp, and would be the easiest way to go, and the way I'd go in your position.
It can be 100% reliable if built well, and mapped well, but for Ł900 ?

i would find a st170 engine with its own ECU and mounts for the mk4 Ł600, then a nice filter and manifold should see you to 180bhp which would be fast in a mk4 fezza.
IMO you couldent get a reliable 200hp CVH for Ł900 fitted and running

zetec E mate, so you would need a way of using the st170 ECU standalone from the MK4 loom and ecu.
looking at your other thread mate it looks like you had the right idea with a zetec se 1.7, although you wont get near 200 bhp with it for 900 quid.
Sell it and buy a mk 3
