Default CLOSED LOOP CONTROL

everyone shuold have it if you do more than a few miles a week in your cossie!
today i started to check my friends car over which has just been fitted with stu's closed loop fuel control! its been fitted to a 2wd car with a L8 ecu and all the bits needed for 330 hp!




bloody car got about 10 faults on it aswell,


when i tested the car before driving it open circuit ACT sensor, so my cossie havent got one at the mo

Sorry to be the thick one!! but

what does that do for you?

so you can see and control the air/fuel mixture?

so you can get it passed MOTs and get it running good? lol

Closed loop will make the car run at 14.7:1 AFR as Gareths AFR guage shows. This will make it very fuel ecconomical and keep the engine clean and carbon free while not upsetting Mr MOT tester.

I't probably the only Cossie mod that SAVES you money!

Fuel economy is for girls, i WANT bore wash and terrible economy, its not a mans car unless its destroying the envirnment everytime you fire it up

no problem stu,, i havent totally finished with the car yet as the car has some faults i dont like on it, be out in it again tomorrow

very impressed so far, nice clear instructions (even though i didnt fit the kit, as i didnt have time, but my mate done it without problems )

still on greens and a 3 bar

what do i need to run this closed loop malarky? and can i fit it myself

i read the article again earlier and in a pic it says £185 but in the pricing guide it says £80 plus fitting

Ok, to clarify...

A standard ford escort Cosworth sensor to fit in the T34 turbine housing is £185 retail at Ford.

I also give the option of a Bosch one to go in the downpipe instead at £80
