will a 2.0 blactop inlet fit a st170?
i'm thinkin of removing my throttle boddies from my st170 engine and fitting a std focus rs turbocharger and std log ex manifold and 2.0 plastic inlet
Do the rubber seals fit around the larger 170 ports?
i have had the parts to do it for ages to use on my 2.0 fiesta blacktop i has a few years back
and on a side note how do 170 cams cope up to ~1 bar of boost with a 9:1 cr with the VVT active?
the aim is not to have 8k rpm gear happy screamer and have ~220 bhp of 5th gear overtaking power and maybe catch my brother in his octavia vrs
i thought i'd ask to see if it's a waste of time or not because i'm just runing the idea through my head at the moment
cheers

humm this is why i ask the Pf experts
not after big power just a nice bit of torque because i'm fed up of thrashing it above 7k to go places
this is probably why people start with focus 2.0 lump
