The traction control light is on and and the car is in limp mode , any ideas?

 

Is the abs light on??

What happens when you turn the traction control off??

 

If your in limp mode I dont think its your tc you need a dianostics reader to see why your in limp mode ,if your car is like mine the abs is part of the tc set up cos when a wheel slips under power the abs brakes on that wheel to place more power to the other wheel

 

Yeah when a wheel slips the traction control sends a misfire to the engine to slow the car down...

 

good point dos your abs module cut in as well ? as cutting spark or fuel i could feel the abs module cutting in when I drove in the snow when the tc lamp flashed is your system the same ?
