Default Ford Focus ECU Key Chip Help

As some of you might no im bilding a FOCUS COSWORTH and iv just got hold of a new loom for the car its out of a auto but that wont bother me but as i might be going to try and run the FOCUS dash clocks i need to get the FOCUS ECU to work them i will be running a cosworth ECU to run the motor . but the thing is iv not got the chip for the FOCUS ECU i have asked the tat yard were i got it from but the key went with one of the doors . Is there any way to trick the FOCUS ECU into thinking the chip is there . If any one dose no if it can be done i would not exspect you to post the info on here but could you PM me it would be a very big help to me....Thanks for your time on this matter

Id say your not going to get around this can you not use the cos ecu to run the clocks or use cos clocks?

No mate the cosworth ECU dose not run any clock,s i may just have to run my escort clock,s

there is a place nere me that can plug into the ECU and make a new chip but the last time i had this done it cost me Ł88

yer pats is an arse Iv got an st engine to go in my car luckly I got the chips from the breakers ,I have heard that pats can be disabled with the right kit , but not to sure about that though , best of fortune dude thats one hell of a project !!!

just an after thought the sensor signals will be coming from the cos parts like tacho signal from the EDIS unit and vss on the cos box ? so even if the focus ecu was running would thare not be signal conflict ?

without a chip the quick answer is no

if you can get it another chip made them have that done as ford would want alot more for this

Or find someone on the net breaking a focus near you and go grab what you need , ecu, key and transponder ring ,
