can i fit a smaller header tank without adverse problems to my 1.8 tddi mk1 focus

shouldnt be a prob fella.
they only hold a small amount anyway so shouldnt make a difference.

Be seriously careful, that the new one has enough "room" for the expansion of the coolant, as the caps pass gas not liquid, if it becomes full as the coolant expands when hot and fills the tank then a blown HG is the likely result.
